Y4Y Canada recently travelled to Mallorytown to facilitate a bannock-making workshop with students at Front of Yonge Elementary School. Throughout the day, we led four workshop sessions with approximately 27 students in each group, reaching students from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Honouring Métis Elder Reta Gordon
We had the special honour of performing for a Metis Elder Reta Gordon. The gathering was filled with warmth, laughter, and community. Friends and family joined in, including Elders Marie-Louise Perron and Parm Burgie, who helped make the afternoon even more meaningful.
Youth4Youth Canada Brings Indigenous Dance to Summer Camp
Youth4Youth Canada had the opportunity to share the beauty of Indigenous dance with over 150 young campers aged 3 to 16 at Stonehaven Community Church. The day was filled with joy, learning, and creativity, thanks to the warm welcome we received from Camp Director Gwen, her husband Pastor Kaleb, and their enthusiastic son Cory.
