Our first workshop of 2023 was a hybrid of virtual and in-person participants!
Bad weather kept many of the attendees from coming in person, but over 70 people joined via Zoom.
Elder Louella Tobias of Delaware Nation opened the session with teachings about the importance of traditional foods to Indigenous people in urban centres.
With live instruction and kitchen facilities, participants were able to make blueberry bannock from start to finish.
