NAC Summer Indigenous Art Market 2025

NAC Summer Indigenous Art Market 2025

Youth4Youth Canada extends our sincere gratitude to the NAC Indigenous Theatre Team for providing us with the space to fundraise at the Summer Indigenous Art Market on June 6. This vibrant event celebrated Indigenous culture and showcased the incredible talents of Métis, Inuit, and First Nations artists.

Held in the Gail & David O’Brien Atrium, the market featured a diverse array of handmade jewellery, beadwork, paintings, sculptures, and traditional crafts. Attendees not only supported local artists but also engaged in meaningful conversations about Indigenous heritage.

The funds raised will significantly contribute to our Indigenous programming, empowering youth through cultural activities, mentorship, and skill development. We are committed to fostering a deeper understanding of Indigenous cultures and promoting the voices of young Indigenous leaders.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to the NAC Indigenous Theatre team for their support. We look forward to future opportunities to celebrate and uplift Indigenous artists and youth in our community!

We also want to thank Pistachio Choco (Rideau Centre) for saving the day by providing us with change when we ran out. ❤️ They make spectacular handmade chocolates and you owe it to yourself to visit them.
