For many of our Junior Jiggers, this was their first pair of moccasins ever!
Dance is a part of cultural identity, and wearing authentic attire only adds to that sense.
Up until this point, many of the kids attending our dance workshops practised and performed in their street shoes, socks, or borrowed mocs. And today is a day they dreamed about for a long time.
As you can see from the smiles on their faces, traditional footwear of their very own clearly has special meaning.
