We were grateful to have been invited back for a second year to share Métis dance as performers at the Indigenous Women’s Arts Conference 2023 at St. Laurent Centre.
This year we brought our Junior Jiggers along to inspire young children to dance. Between performances, we invited children from the audience to learn a few basic steps. Many little ones (and a few adults!) took us up on our invitation over the course of our appearances on Saturday and Sunday.
As we did last year, we also spent some time fundraising for our parent organization Youth4Youth Canada in support of Kisac and Talk Overdose. We handmake these chocolates in our own home using fresh ingredients and no preservatives! Thanks to everyone who supported us, told us to ‘keep the change’, or just made a donation. We’re so thankful.
