After wowing the audience at Almonte Celtfest – the Junior Jiggers struck again!
The Masters Indigenous Games provides Indigenous adults, aged 20 years and older, the opportunity to compete against their peers in a variety of contemporary and traditional sporting activities.
Its cultural festival (free and open to the public) showcases Indigenous artists, performers, storytellers and vendors and serves as an opportunity to create dialogue, promote greater understanding of the worlds Indigenous Peoples, and celebrate the power of sport and culture.
Naturally it was the perfect opportunity for our Kisac youth to show what they’ve learned this summer! Thank you to Belle Bailey and Indigenous Sport & Wellness Ontario for inviting us to perform with our Junior Jiggers.
